CA Cabinets are a small team of experienced and qualified cabinet makers based in South Brisbane. We have been providing residents of Mount Gravatt, Tarragindi, Wishart, Rochedale, Salisbury, Moorooka and surrounding South Brisbane areas with high-quality, custom made cabinet making services since 2000. Our team have a strong focus on providing high-quality bespoke pieces paired with individualised customer service, and we pride ourselves on the strong reputation for affordable quality that we have established for ourselves.

Our History:

CA Cabinets is owned and operated by Chris Asmussen, a qualified cabinet maker who has been working in the industry for almost three decades. Chis grew up in South Brisbane and got his first job in the industry as an apprentice cabinet maker working for his father’s business. He worked alongside his father at JPA Cabinets for over a decade and in 2000 he decided to establish his own business, CA Cabinets.

JPA Cabinets and CA Cabinets remained close, sharing a workshop and tools, and when Chris’s dad retired at the age of 60, Chris took over many of his client accounts. Some of the customers that Chris works with today have been clients for 40+ years because of this.

Chis is joined by Phil, an experienced cabinet maker with 15 years of experience working for a number of different cabinet and kitchen making businesses before joining CA Cabinets 6 years ago.

Our Services:

CA Cabinets specialise in custom made, bespoke cabinet making services. We are not set up for mass production, but rather craft each item individually to suit the specific requirements of our clients. We only use high-quality materials and hardware, ensuring that our products last longer, and all of our workmanship comes with a lifelong warranty

We invite our customers to be as involved in the design process as they would like to be – you can share your ideas, sketches and inspiration, working with us to design the specifics of your project, or you can show us a few photos of the style you like, pick out some colours, set a budget and let us do the rest. We can work off photos and images that you’ve found online, replicating anything you’ve found that you love.

All of our clients are offered a free measure and quote service and we also encourage you to visit our workshop to view the full range of materials and colour options that are available. Often, for things like a single bathroom vanity or wardrobe, we are able to give you a ball park figure over the phone based on your own measurements.
